| What I was refuting was his statement that BOVs are worthless unless you have 600+hp. That is false. When you are running higher boost than stock, you will wear your recircs out sooner or later. They were designed to handle stock 10lbs of boost. When you get a chip and jets and are running anywhere from 12-16psi, there is going to be more stress on the recirc springs. They will begin to leak. In addition to that, they may not be able to flow enough volume at 12-16 psi back into the intake tract quickly enough to be effective. This will result in compressor surge which they are designed to combat.
